Ayangue is a small coastal town located in La Ruta del Sol( The Sun Route), approximately 2 hours from Guayaquil, before montañita. The sea is very calm, excellent place to visit if you are travelling with children, where they will be able to play without fear of the currents or the waves. It is the perfect place to spend the day. You will be able to enjoy a calm and quiet beach, most of the year. We do not recommend visiting it during the holidays of Carnival and Easter, when it is fully crowded. Here you will be able to see artisanal fishing, which allows villagers to offer a great variety of excellent fresh seafood that pleases everyone. Between December and May it is the beach season, it is very sunny and the temperature of the water is 80 Fahrenheit degrees. The rest of the year the sky partially cloudy and the temperature of the water 70 Fahrenheit degrees. On a 20 minutes ride from the beach you wild find El Pelado. El Pelado is a small island known by the facilities that offer to divers and by its varied marine life. There is possible to find turtles, lobsters, octopuses, among others.
